While other consoles still may outsell the Xbox 360 in Europe, Microsoft Europe says they have sold seven million units there (Wii continues to sell the best; with Nintendo DS at a close second; Xbox 360 in third place; PlayStation 3 closing in at fourth).
That's a two million increase from June, and since then, they've slashed their price twice.
Here's an exuberant, if not, funny quote from Microsoft Europe's David Gosen, "It’s the combination of elements that put us in a fantastically strong position. We have 360 degrees of entertainment. At the moment, momentum is fantastic; we’ve got real traction in all European markets."
