Gas prices in Saskatoon are currently 107.9¢ (or so) per litre... and that's just regular gasoline man! With these outrageous prices, Huy's HomeTurf!!!@Home is here to help you, somewhat. All you have to do is fill up that gas tank attached to your vehicle with gasoline (from one of our "preferred" stations) from a gas station, or "gas bar." Then, mail the receipt to our "office" and your name will be put into a draw box. If your name is drawn, you could be reimbursed with up to $40.00. So, let's say you win but you only spent $39.99 on gasoline. In that case, you'd only receive $39.99 from us. If you spent $40.01, you would only get $40.00 from us. See, it's as clear as mud.
So why not enter? You've got nothing to lose, except for postage! In fact, you don't even have to use postage... you can use postage meters, postal indicias... or whatever flips your waffle. However, we do have a bunch of ridiculous rules and/or guidelines that must be adhered to. So, read carefully, or you will be disqualified.
The amount of gasoline purchased must be a minimum of 30 litres.*
The price of the gasoline must be 99.9¢ per litre (good luck trying to find something that low this summer) or higher.
The receipt must be dated between April 30 and May 18, 2007.
The gasoline must be purchased at one of the following gas stations:
- ESSO
- Petro Canada
- The Real Canadian Superstore
- Extra Foods
- Canadian Tire
- Husky/MOHAWK
* If you do not have a receipt (proof of purchase) with 30 litres of gasoline on it, you can combine receipts as long as all of the receipts satisfy the requirements of #2, 3 and 4.
Now, if you would like to enter our crazy contest, you must follow our step-by-step instructions... though you probably knew the drill anyways.
Get your gasoline. If you wish, you can use receipts that you find around the house, provided that they meet the requirements that were listed above.
Get an envelope, and in the area where you would put the mailing address, make sure it says something like this:

Now, we really don't care about how you write our address. It could be the post office format, your "own" format... whatever flips your waffle. As long as the first two lines are the same, we'll be happy. Actually, that's a freaking lie. We are never happy to receive mail from you guys, ha ha.
** You may enter as many times as you wish. However, entries must be mailed separately and must have separate receipts. That means you cannot use the same receipt(s) for every entry.
Entries must be received no later than May 25, 2007. Five people will randomly be selected from a pool of entries on or around May 27, 2007. Cheques will then be mailed within 14 days. Direct deposits will be processed quicker than cheques.
