Well, we're here to present to you another scam! Yes, scam... the last one was a scam because Gregg Bent and Cailin Fisher won.
Well, how does this scam work? You fill up your vehicle's gas tank with gasoline and keep the receipts. Then, from today (August 14, 2006) to August 30, 2006, save your receipts. Once August 30 rolls around, gather all your receipts (or photocopies) and staple them together. Then, take a blank piece of paper and write down your name, mailing address and a contact phone number.
Once you have that paper with your contact information and the receipts, mail them all to the following address:
Huy's HomeTurf!!!@Home Media, Inc.
Gasoline Promotion
PO Box 28040 RPO Westgate
Saskatoon, SK S7M 5V8
But, this scam only works if you actually drive. So, you must send in a photocopy of your driver's licence, showing us that you can indeed drive without the supervision of an experienced driver. For an example, click here. Make sure you wipe out as much personal information as possible (the stuff that can help us steal your identity).
So, once we receive the copy of your licence, the receipts and the paper with your information on it, we will add up the totals of your receipts. Then, we will put your name into a draw. The winners (there will be five) will receive a "rebate cheque" of 40% (to a maximum of $50).
All entries must be postmarked by September 7, 2006 and entries must be received no later than the mail delivery on September 15, 2006.
