Mergers... some are kick-ass... some suck! written on Sunday, March 05, 2006 by Huy Dang Corporate America is known for many, many buyouts. And, the most common practice in Corporate America lately has been mergers. The merger that created G4techTV Remember that merger between G4 and TechTV that formed that hybrid name G4techTV? Well, the merger may have screwed both channels but they produced a few entertaining commercials. Remember Adam Sessler? That loser on X-Play? Well, there's that commercial with that guy who HATES Adam Sessler. Now, did we get to see those entertaining commercials when the program was on TechTV? NO! However, that doesn't mean that G4 made TechTV better. Well, they did... but only commercial-wise. By the way, the show I'm talking about is one of the only shows from TechTV to survive the merger. Remember when G4techTV had that whole day dedicated to the release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas? Well, this is another example of a merged company producing kick-ass commercials. Well, because Martin Sargent from Unscrewed with Martin Sargent was in this commercial, it makes it quite entertaining. To see the commercial, click here. Remember when Sprint and Nextel were both separate companies? Well, back then, both companies barely had commercials. Well, the merger may not have been good to a lot of people... but, to us, it is beautiful... There is a commercial with the funny angry Chinese guy on that movie Rush Hour that is known as Juntao.
